Shields should stack, not replace when multiple are used

If I have a shield with a short time remaining and want to have a new one kick in when it is up, I have to wait for the current one to expire. If I try using a second one, I lose the remaining time on the first one. It would be nice if these would stack so the second one would kick in when the first one expires, not as soon as it is used so I don't lose the remaining time on my first shield.
